My best friend, my rock, my superhero - I will miss you dearly dear old dad! Not a day will pass that I don’t think about you. I will talk to you everyday and although I will not hear your voice physically I will hear you in my heart.

With deepest sympathy and you will be missed. Love Peter, Aida, Michael, John, Finn & Jake
We send you are deepest condolences. Have been praying for him and all of you daily.
When I first moved in to raintree in 2004, John and Ann were the most welcoming and kind neighbors. John always had a smile on his face, and a funny anecdote to tell. John’s family and friends were lucky to share their lives with him. Heaven just got a whole lot more fun.
With love,
Chris and Tania
The four of us are so sorry to hear of Dad's passing. We have the best memories of "Boop" always busting our chops, always making our Dad and the rest of us laugh.
May he rest in peace.
Charlie, Jack, Laura, and Monica Sagona
Mr. Monti It was a real honor to know to growing up in Marine Park, Brooklyn. I always had a blast with your son Adam and I remember your sly smile and your quick wit. You were a gentle soul, a friend to my parents and a role model to all that knew you. Your legacy will continue on in your children and grandchildren. Sincere condolences from my family. Dan McCaffrey
I know uncle Junior since I was a little girl. He was the brother of my Uncle Willy Monti, and the uncle of my cousins, Maria and John Monti, but was also like an uncle to me when I was growing up. I remember my mom taking me to Uncle Junior and Aunt Anna's house all the time. He would always pinch my cheeks and they would be red the whole day. As i got older My cousin Maria and I would babysit for Adam and Eddie, when they lived on Nostrand Ave. in Brooklyn. When we all got together all he would do was make us laugh, he was a great guy and I have many memories of him. Sending my prayers to your family at this time of sorrow, and May you Rest In Eternal Peace. Love LuAnn
Dad - I am truly heartbroken! Superman was real and he was you dad. You gave us love, support, work ethics and the desire to never give up on anything. You were always proud of me no matter what... you were my dad, my superhero, my protector and best friend. Respect for ourselves and anyone from any walk of life. You gave new meaning to common sense and how to look at things differently.
The day we were driving through the Bowery and an old alcoholic was asking for money and I said don’t give it to him dad he’s gonna use it for booze and you told me Adam, look at him, he’s sick, he’s old and will not get help. Let him buy his booze it’s his medicine.
I was and always felt safe and secure with you dad! You had the biggest heart and that extended to your bravery and protection of our family. Nobody ever stood up to you and you NEVER backed down. You are and always will be the most amazing dad in the world.
Dad- you taught me how to be a man and more importantly how to be a great dad. You loved your grandchildren more than anything in the world and they love you more than anything in the world - best grandpa ever!!!
I’m glad we were blessed to have the opportunity the past month to talk and I was able to tell you my feelings deeper than I have ever told you and am proud of you dad.
Love you with all my heart and soul - The Guardian Angel to Nicholas, Christopher, Michele, Me, Mom - Bud and Sue.
Rest Eternally In Peace and we’ll talk every day dad! God Bless you - he blessed me with you as my dad!
I did not know John but I have had the great pleasure of being friends with his son Adam and his family. I do know that John was a great man because I see his reflection in the character of Adam and his boys Nick and Chris. They are a living tribute to someone that must have been an amazing father and grandfather. My sympathies and prayers are with you Monti family.
My sister and I grew up with John and his family living above us and we will never forget the laughs we all shared and the memories that will always bring a smile to our faces. John you will missed and we know that you will see our dad and you both will sit and catch up and laugh.
