Obituary of Thomas V. Ielpi

Thomas V. Ielpi, 85, of Freehold passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Pinebrook Care Center, Englishtown.  He was a lifelong resident of Brooklyn and worked as a telephone repairman for Bell Telephone, NYC until his retirement.  Thomas served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.  He was a sports fan, with his first love for the Brooklyn Trolly Dodgers until they broke his heart and found his new love the New York Yankees. He enjoyed spending time at the racetrack, especially at Belmont and Aquaduct. 

Thomas is survived by his children, Christina McDonald and her husband, John of Little Falls, Stephen Ielpi of San Francisco, CA, Cathy Anne Ielpi of Freehold Township, and Alicia Perez and her husband, Anthony of Manalapan; nine grandchildren; siblings, Filomina Ielpi of Little Falls, and Anthony Ielpi and his wife, Amy of Brick; a nephew; and a niece.
