Obituary of Margaret Coleman

Margaret Coleman, 85, of Waretown, NJ passed away on Friday, August 17, 2012 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Margaret was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY moving to Waretown in 1985. She was a mailroom supervisor at Chase Manhattan Bank, NYC, NY before retiring in 1985. Margaret loved going to Atlantic City where she played the slot machines. She was predeceased by her husband, Leroy Coleman; a son, Richard Coleman in 1995; a brother, Henry "Sonny" McGlynn; and two sisters, Anna Johnson and Eleanor Isasi. Margaret is survived by one daughter, Joyce Hlava of Cedar Grove, NJ; two grandsons, Eric Hlava and his wife, Annie of Howell, NJ and Brian Hlava and his wife, Bridget of Cedar Grove, NJ; four great grandchildren, Kate Hlava, John Hlava, Shane Hlava and Quinn Hlava; three sisters, Anita Cecero of Middletown, Dorothy Russo of Guttenberg, NJ and Joan Mackey of Pennsylvania. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 11:00 AM for the procession to the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle New Jersey Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Arneytown, for her 12:30 PM funeral service at the cemetery chapel.
