Obituary of Ethel Kuchie

Ethel "Susie" Kuchie, 76, of Toms River passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Van Dyke Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Toms River. Mrs. Kuchie was born in Morgantown, West Virginia and had lived in Woodbridge and Las Vegas, NV before moving to Toms River in 1995. Ethel was a caterer for Ogden Foods, Las Vegas until her retirement. She was a member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Toms River. Mrs. Kuchie was an avid Giants fan and loved to play video poker games. Ethel was predeceased by her husband, Steve Kuchie in 1999. She is survived by four daughters: Katherian Hargraves of Las Vegas, NV, Margaret Petrow of Woodbridge, Julie McColley of Toms River, and Elizabeth Simpson of Beachwood; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister: Irene Dana of Princeton; and one brother: Steve Zolton of South River. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 1500 Hooper Ave., Toms River on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Interment is private.
