Obituary of Anthony Ritota

Anthony Ritota, 88, formerly of Orange, passed away at Van Dyke Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Toms River on Monday, January 18, 2010. Anthony was born, raised and lived in Orange before retiring to Toms River in 1985. He was a salesman and manager of the Caldwell Men's Shop, Caldwell until his retirement. Anthony also served as commissioner for the Orange Housing Authority. He was predeceased by two brothers Dante and Michael, and two sisters Josie and Gertrude. Anthony is survived by his wife of 58 years Jeanette Ritota; one son: Russell Ritota of Madison; one daughter and son-in-law: Teresa and Rudy Aquino of Howell; and four grandchildren: Christopher, Julie, Mark, and Kevin. Relatives and friends may gather at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM with his funeral service to follow at 4:00 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Anthony may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 and would be appreciated.
