Obituary of Edward Finnegan

Edward T. Finnegan, 81 of Howell Township passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mr. Finnegan was born in and had lived in Brooklyn before moving to Howell Township. He graduated from Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute with his Bachelor's degree. Mr. Finnegan worked as an electrical engineer for Western Union, New York City. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He was predeceased by a brother, John; and three sisters Ruth, Jean and June. Mr. Finnegan is survived by his wife, Freida; two sons Christopher Finnegan of Seattle, Washington and Kevin Finnegan of Neenah, Wisconsin; three grandchildren; and one sister Noel Gluck of Vermont. There will be a memorial service at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township on a day and at a time to be announced. Interment is private.
