Obituary of Mary Jane Folts

Mary Jane Folts, 75, of Freehold Borough died on Sunday, June 7th at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Twp. Mrs. Folts was born in Kansas City, Kansas, and was raised in Kansas City, Missouri, moving to Freehold Borough in 1956. She was a Clerk in the Deed Room in the Hall of Records Building for Monmouth County, until her retirement in 2004. She was a member of the Ardena Baptist Church, Howell Twp., where she was a Pioneer Girl Leader. Mrs. Folts was also a life-long Cub Scout Den Mother in Freehold Borough. She had a love for her family and a passion for writing. She was predeceased by her husband, William, in 1991, and a grandson, Christopher Stanley, in 2008. She is survived by six sons, Neil Stanley of Howell, Mark Stanley of Old Bridge, Billy Folts of Freehold Borough, Morris Stanley of Seattle, Washington, David Folts of Bluffton, South Carolina and Jason Stanley of Freehold Twp,; five daughters, Janeil Kuczera of Fords, LeaAnn Miller of Old Bridge, Jacque Folts of Freehold Twp., Laura Felix of South Portland, Maine and Faith Jones of Sedona Arizona, 14 Grandchildren and two Great Grandchildren, two Brothers, John Osborn and James Osborne both of Missouri. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Twp. on Tuesday, June 9, 2009, from 2-4 and 7-8:30 PM with her funeral service to follow at 8:30 PM. Interment will be private.
