Obituary of Audrey Coty

Audrey C. Coty, 74, of Toms River, NJ died on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ. Mrs. Coty was born in Elizabeth, NJ and had lived in Old Bridge before moving to Toms River, 20 years ago. She was a parishioner of Holy Family Church, in Lakewood NJ and a former parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in South Amboy. Mrs. Coty was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Cheesequake Fire Company and a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Mrs. Coty was a graduate of St. Vincent Academy in Newark, Class of 1952. She was also a Professional Slot and bingo player. Before retiring in 1991, Mrs. Coty was a manager for New Jersey Bell for 30 years, most recently in Elizabeth, NJ. She is survived by her husband, Lionel Joseph Coty of Toms River, NJ; Two sons and Daughters-in-law, Joseph and Connie Coty of Whitehouse Station, NJ, Edward and Michelle Coty of Howell, NJ; Four Daughters and Sons-in-law, Cathy and Ed "Kip" Kipila of Farmingdale, NJ, Lynda and Ray Lombardi of Freehold Twp., NJ, Jacqueline Coty-Gallo and Fred Gallo of Jacobstown, NJ, Karen and Joe Mutarelli of Old Bridge, NJ; Twelve Grandchildren, and One great granddaughter. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road, (Route 524), Freehold Twp., NJ, on Monday, April 6, 2009, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, April 7, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Relatives and friends may gather at the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. for her rite of committal, followed by her 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Church, 1139 East County Line Road, Lakewood, NJ 08701.
