Obituary of Elizabeth Agate
Mrs. Agate was born in New York City and had lived in Queens before moving to The Villages, Freehold, in 1986. She was a communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Freehold Twp., NJ. Mrs. Agate was a sewing machine operator with the International Ladies Garment Workers Union in Manhattan for 25 years retiring in 1981.
She is predeceased by her husband, James, in 1990. She is surviived by her 2 Sons: Frank Agate of West Taghkanic, NY, Robert N. Agate of Freehold, NJ, 1 Sister: Angie Termini of Hudson, NY, 6 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
Service Information: Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road, Freehold Twp., NJ, on Saturday, April 4, 2009, from 8:30 to 9:30 AM. Relatives and friends may gather at 8:30 AM on Saturday at the Funeral Home for the Rite of Committal followed by her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Twp., NJ. Interment to follow in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery, Freehold, NJ.
