Obituary of Mary Scucchia

Mary Scucchia, 99, of Howell, NJ passed away at home on Wednesday, April 25, 2012. Mary was born in Italy and was raised in New York City and had lived in Riverdale, NY before moving to Howell in 1985. She was a seamstress for Adele Simpson, NYC until retiring in 1985. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Scucchia in 1986; a daughter, Antonette (Toni) Capomaggi in 2011; and two brothers, Anthony and Frank. She is survived by two granddaughters, Lisa Hornby and her husband, Michael of Matawan and Teresa Capomaggi; and a son-in-law, Louis of Manalapan. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, April 27, 2012 from 9:00 AM until her 11:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township.
