Condolences
Dear Regina and Family, My parents and I are so saddened to hear of your sudden loss. Jerry was one of the kindest men I’ve ever met. We will miss his smile and laughter. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
To the Tripoli Family, May you be comforted by wonderful memories and peace during this difficult time. With our heartfelt sympathy, The Peeples/Tabourne Family
The Gentle Giant. My uncle Jerry .... Big and strong but gentle and loving . He was funny and fun. I remember how great he was with us when we were little, letting us use him like a jungle gym , and him laughing all the way through . When we think of uncle Jerry we think of his smile and laughter , Harley Davidsons , Great Danes and family . You will be missed and always remembered . We love you and will see you again in heaven ! Our hearts and prayers go out to aunt Regina , Chris, Alaina and their families at this difficult time .
We are so saddened by the loss of our best friend. We knew Jerry for over 40 years and have so many wonderful memories, like having pizza at Nicks and begging the owner for the recipe for his famous cheesecake (which Nick never gave us). Since moving to Bayville we have had so many "playdates" and great times together. We loved going out on his boat and then out to dinner together. Jerry had an amazing sense of humor and made us all laugh. He will be truly missed. Farewell our friend.
Dear Uncle Jerry, Saying good-bye is always difficult and painful, and my heart is breaking for our family, most especially for Aunt Regina, Chris & Alaina, and your many grandchildren. I do believe that you are now up in Heaven, playing one heck of a poker game with Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle Frank and Uncle Pat. You are missed by many. With much love, Kris
Dear Brother, it was too soon and too quick. We will miss your smile, your laughter and your hugs, not to mention your antipasto which was always a work of art. We are so thankful to God that you and Regina got to live your dream with a beautiful home on the water and a boat where so many family members and friends were treated to great excursions into the bay. I will treasure my appointment as First Mate (one of many). We will see you again at a future meeting of the Board. You will always be in our hearts and prayers. We love you brother. Joe and Irene
Words cannot express the sadness we feel about Mr. Tripoli's passing. He was such a warm and caring father figure for me. Over the years, I' ve regarded him as my second father and your home as my home away from home. I will forever remember his smile, voice, and sense of humor. He will be sorely missed. I pray that you have the strength to get through the pain and loss. Know that he is with God and resting comfortably. He will continue to look out for you and watch over you. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Love, The Crookers
Mrs. Tripoli, Alaina, and Chris-Blessings to you and your family. You are always in my heart. Your dad and husband is a wonderful man. Love and comfort to you all. When in NJ your home was a place of solace for me and now place of solace in my memory ♡♡
Remember that scene in "It's a Wonderful Life" when they say, every time a bell rings an Angel gets his wings? From now on, every time you hear thunder, an Angel is getting a BONECRUSHER from my Uncle Jerry. I'll be looking forward to the next thunderstorm, knowing all the Angels are giving you a warm welcome.
Uncle Jerry, it's never easy to say goodbye to someone we love, especially when it comes so fast to someone so young. I already miss how funny and silly you could be, and the big, safe feeling from one of your hugs. I'll be looking for you at sunset on Longboat Key. Love always, Laura
Jerry and I go way back. Other than his family, I have probably known him longer then anyone even Regina. Back in the early Sixties we took many a shower together. I better explain that. We played football together at New Utrecht High School from 1961 to 1963. I have more scars on my body from Jerry than from the three minor surgeries I have had since as a result of this experience together. You see he and I were pretty close to the same size back then and in any drill he and I were matched up against each other by the coaches. I can still feel the impact as he blocked me. He was named captain of the team in our senior season because any of us would follow him to heck and back. That was the kind of guy he was. I'm going to miss a lot of things about him. One thing in particular was the way he would call me "skinny" and not be sarcastic even though I weigh over 240 pounds. He was a big guy. It is tough say good bye to a friend you have had for over 50 years. I just wish we would have had even longer.
Brother, I can never thank you enough for all you did for me these past 2 1/2 years. Of course, there are all the happy times over my lifetime of being your sister too. The weekends in Parsippany when Pat and I were dating. The many "bone crushers" you gave to my boys...I have even forgiven you for breaking the toe off of my favorite dolly! As you know, I still have the doll, and will keep it forever. So I say to you now, "scarecrow, I think I'll miss you most of all" I love you Kathy (Aunt Crappy)
Hi Chris - so sorry to hear about your dad; my condolences... My pop just passed Feb. 26, so I can imagine how you must feel. I offer this after a month of thinking about it - as best you can, remember the good times, Chief.
Uncle Jerry what can we say. You left a lasting mark on all our hearts. From being my brothers godfather (he truly adored you!!) my dads baby brother (he loved you and treasured you and all the wonderful times he had with you!) and being my uncle for 47 years. We have so many happy fun memories of growing up and coming over for bbqs rides on your "bike" and walks around the lake. Those memories will never be forgotten. Your children Alaina n Christopher loved you so much and did all they could to be there for you they will have you in their hearts forever! You and Aunt Regina raised beautiful children that should make you so proud! Aunt Regina will miss you terribly but she has your children to look after her and the whole family as well. So you just rest in peace now. And know that you will be missed more than you could ever know! Love always Dina Rob Andrew n Christopher
We are so sadden by your passing but we know you are at peace and are no longer suffering. We will miss you dearly, your smile, that wonderful hearty laugh of yours, how you call Aunt Regina - "mom" and all the good times we had together!! I remember when I first starting dating Joe all he ever talked about was his godfather!!! He loved you will all his heart and so did I. You will be missed, but you should be so proud when you are looking down that you have raised the most beautiful, wonderful, caring children, Christopher and Alaina are truly amazing, they were there every step of the way and just know that Aunt Regina will be just fine - every child should be just like yours!!!! We love you Uncle Jerry and always know you will be close to our heart forever. May you rest in peace with the angels - we love you, Joseph, Gina Eric & Nina
Jerry, There are no words to describe how much you will be missed by all of us. We are very fortunate to have a lifetime of memories with you that will never dim in our minds. You will be so missed my baby brother. You will be forever in our minds, our hearts, and our prayers. Rest now and we will see you again with the rest of the family in heaven.
