Obituary of Albert Trevelise

Albert T. Trevelise, 92, of Howell passed away at home with his family at his side on Monday, September 14, 2015. He was born in Union City and lived in Marlboro prior to settling in Howell in 2004. After serving in World War II in the U.S. Navy on the USS Ronquil, Al was proud to be a Union City Firefighter for over 30 years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who was known for his keen sense of humor. Al was predeceased by his loving wife, Rosemarie Trevelise in 1996 and eight brothers and sisters. He is survived by his son, Stephen Trevelise and his wife, Deneen, of Roosevelt; his daughter, Michelle Vitali and her husband, John, of Manalapan; five grandchildren, Gianna, John and Isabella Vitali, and Albert and Lennon Trevelise; his sister, Catherine DeGrigoli of Naples, FL; and 52 nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, September 17, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at 9:00 AM at the funeral home on Friday, September 18, 2015 for the procession to his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township.
