Obituary of Henriette Jackson

Henriette "Memere" Jackson, 87, of Freehold Township passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Brandywine Assisted Living, Howell Township with her family by her side. Henriette was born in Charleville, Mézières, France and came to the United States in 1946 settling in Sayreville. She had lived in East Brunswick before moving to Freehold Township 35 years ago. Henriette was a former parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy, a member of the Schbek Brothers and also a member of the Polish American Club in Sayreville. She took pleasure spending time with her family, knitting, enjoyed polka dancing and spending time on the beach. Henriette loved going on cruises and was a world traveler. Henriette was predeceased by her first husband, Adolph Halinski; her second husband, George Jackson; a son, Patrick Halinski; a daughter, Linda Lake; two brothers; and a sister. She is survived by her three children, Dolores Halinski of Vineland, Richard Halinski and his wife, Donna of Old Bridge and Patricia Kudrick-Jackey and her husband, Robert Jackey of Freehold Township; a son-in-law, Robert Lake of Freehold Township; four grandchildren, Heather Halinski of Piscataway, Andy Kudrick and his wife, Barbara of Howell, Chantal Smith and her husband, Paul of Lewis, DE, and Danielle Wall and her husband, Scott of Howell; four great grandchildren, Taylor Smith, Tyler Kudrick, Cameron Smith and Katherine Wall; and extended Jackey family that she loved very much. A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:30 PM with her funeral service to follow at 7:30 PM with the Rev.
