Condolences
Matthew Over the past 20 years, we saw you through the loving and adoring eyes from the stories shared by your Aunt Lisa. Her pride and joy in you and Rachael come to life with each of your triumphs and accomplishments, your life challenges, how you were maturing into the amazing young man you had become and your opportunities ahead.
On the day of your passing we met Jon's parents, of whom came by to grieve and share....their stories equally beautiful.
The outpouring of emotion and comments from your friends and those that had you in their life is amazing. All the comments speak of "Schiek" with the highest of integrity, the "selfless best friend", the "wished he was my brother", the "considered him my son" and "the fine young man".
Your Mother Randi, your Dad Richard and Sister Rachael all had such a blessing with you in their lives! The rest of the communities you affected had fantastic luck with a mentor, friend, leader and an ideal scholar, as an example of how life should be lived.
So we celebrate and honour Matthew T Schiek. No wonder why you were taken early...for now you have moved to a higher place, where you will guide and bless all of us here to follow.
The Casadonte Family
So sorry to read of the tragic loss of your dear son Matthew. Our heavenly Father promises us that very soon he will 'swallow up death forever, and wipe the tears from all faces' Isaiah 25:8. What a wonderful future hope that is. There is much Bible based comfort to be found on the website jw org
