Obituary of Agnes Bennett

Agnes Bennett, 82, of Howell, met with God on Saturday, February 25, 2012. Born in Long Branch on Christmas Day, she is a special gift to all. Retiring in 2007, she continued her active lifestyle. Though a jack of all trades, she truly shined as a seamstress; creating fabric wonders and countless alterations. Her boundless energy and caring side were best exemplified in her roses that she raised with all her heart, much like her children; Jackie, Jeanne, and Jerry, and grandkids; Tami, Christi, Kari, Ryan and Matthew. Predeceased by her husband Roy, her parents and her siblings Anna and Lou, she is survived by her brother Julius, sister Margaret, and countless nieces and nephews. Visitating at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, February 27, 2012 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. Her funeral service will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Lakewood at 11 AM on Tuesday, February 28, 2012. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Immanuel Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
