Obituary of Jacqueline Allard

Jacqueline F. Allard, 74, of Jackson passed away surround by her sons on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Jacqueline was born and raised in Binghamton, NY and had lived in Hamilton and Mt. Holly before moving to Jackson twenty years ago. She served as a nurse in the U.S. Navy where she met her husband, Edward. Jacqueline retired as a bookkeeper for CentraState Medical Center, and prior to that was a bookkeeper for the Burlington Coat Factory in Burlington. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, Freehold, where she participated in the Women's Ministries and Bible Study. Jacqueline served as a committee person at the Orchards at Bartley. She was an avid reader and cook, and enjoyed playing board games. Jacqueline loved to travel, especially on cruise ships, but most of all, her life was guided by her faith. Jacqueline was predeceased by her husband, Edward Allard, Sr.; a son, Kenneth R. Allard; and a brother-in-law, Bill Allard. She is survived by three sons, Edward "Butch" Allard, Jr. of Eastampton, Henry G. Allard and his wife, Janet of Lumberton, and Scott M. Allard of Clearwater, FL; seven grandchildren, Jessica and her husband, Jason, Scott, Jr., Quori, Desiree, Zachary, Daulton and Montana; her in-laws, Jerry Allard and his wife, Alma of Castle Hayne, NC, Bob Allard and his wife, Arline of Hamilton, and Sheila Allard of Hamilton; and her dear friend, Cindy Rapelye and her husband, Bill of Jackson. A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, February 1, 2015 from 12:00 to 4:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 9:30 AM funeral service at the funeral home on Monday, February 2, 2015 with Rev. Jeffrey Philhower officiating. Interment will be in Brigadier General Wm. C. Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jacqueline may be made to First Assembly of God Church, 272 Jackson Mills Road, Freehold, NJ 07728.
