Obituary of Caroline Fratoni

Caroline R. Fratoni, 80, of Howell Twp. passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Geraldine L. Thompson Care Center, Wall. Caroline was born, raised, and had lived in the West Brighton section of Staten Island, NY until moving to Howell Twp. in 1992. She retired from the payroll department of St. Vincent's Hospital, Staten Island, NY in 1992. Prior to that, Caroline worked for Uniforms by Ostwald, Staten Island, NY. She was a former parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, West Brighton, NY. Caroline had a passion for cooking, a love for sewing, and was a devoted Yankee Fan. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph G. Fratoni in 1989; three brothers, Vito, Vincent and Albert; and two sisters, Clementine and Antoinette. Caroline is survived by her son, Peter Fratoni and his wife, Vickie of Poteet, Texas; a daughter, Rita Lowe and her husband, Albert of Howell Twp.; four grandchildren, Joseph Fratoni, Laura Fratoni, Nicholas Lowe, and Amanda Revilak and her husband, Scott; a great granddaughter, Jillian Revilak; and a sister, Rose Forlenza of Clark, NJ. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton- Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township, NJ on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Rite of Committal at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 9:00 AM followed by her 10:30 AM Funeral Mass at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 43 Madison Avenue, Lakewood, NJ. Interment will be private. For those who desire memorial contributions in memory of Caroline may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Lone Star Chapter, 6800 Park Ten Boulevard, Suite 131-E, San Antonio, TX, 78213.
