Obituary of Josephine Sparacio

Josephine Sparacio, 85, of Freehold passed away at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 9, 2014. Josephine was born in New York and had lived in Manhattan before moving to Freehold 20 years ago. She was a pediatric medical assistant for Dr. Gerald Rood in New York City and also a homemaker. Josephine was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Sparacio in 2009. She is survived by two sons, Thomas Sparacio and his wife, Sharon of Freehold Township and Richard Sparacio of Manalapan; a daughter, Lisa Sparacio of Freehold Township; and four grandchildren, Mallory Sparacio, Jake Sparacio, Melissa Sparacio and Carlos Santana, Jr. all of Freehold Township. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 9:00 AM for the procession to St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township for her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass.
