Obituary of Edward Schmincke

Edward G. Schmincke, 61, of Farmingdale passed away after a lengthy illness at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune on Thursday, September 18, 2014. Edward was born in Somers Point, attended Absecon schools, Holy Spirit High School and attended the Engineering program at Rutgers University. He worked for AT&T, Bells Labs in Holmdel until starting his own landscape business. Edward was predeceased by his father, Edward G. Schmincke. He is survived by his three sons, Claude Schmincke and his wife, Katrine of Farmingdale, William Schmincke and his wife, Alison of Brooklyn, and Charles Schmincke of Farmingdale; his former wife, Elizabeth of Farmingdale; his mother, Marie Schmincke of Mays Landing; six sisters, Jeanne Jackson and her husband, David of Galloway, Jill Willmann and her husband, Mark of Chesapeake, VA, Janet Revelle and her husband, Wayne of Northfield, June Carroll of Hamilton, Julie Conger and her husband, Steve of Randolph, and Jacqueline Colter of Galloway; a brother, David Schmincke of Mays Landing; numerous nieces, nephews, and grand nephews; and extended family.
