Obituary of Drew Gliem

Drew A. Gliem, 52, of Farmingdale passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Drew was born and raised in Hamilton Township and lived in Farmingdale since 2002. He was an entrepreneur and worked with many non-profit organizations. He was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous, founder of Half Measures, Inc. and co-founder of Last Chance Recovery. He was a board member of CASAA, Consumer Advocates for Smoke-Free Alternatives Association, and the founder of Nhaler.com. Drew lived his life to help others. He was a devoted father and husband, and will be deeply missed. Drew is survived by his wife, Angelina Gliem of Farmingdale; one son, James Gliem of Farmingdale; one daughter, Olivia Gliem of Farmingdale; four brothers, Robert Gliem, Jr. and his wife, Sue of Hamilton; Karl Gliem and his wife, Sharon of Trenton; Martin Gliem and his wife, Reenie of Hamilton; and Scott Gliem and his wife, Shannon of Bordentown City; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and extended family. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, August 30, 2014 from 12:00 to 3:00 PM with a service. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Drew's memory may be made to CASAA, Post Office Box 652, Wilbraham, MA 01095-0652.
