Obituary of Frank Fescine

Frank Fescine, 81, of Freehold Township passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Newark Beth Israel Hospital. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, and lived in Canarsie before settling in Freehold Township in 1994. Frankie was a corporal in the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War. He was a bricklayer supervisor for the New York City Housing Authority until he retired in 1995. Frank was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Lucy Fescine; his sister, Teresa Tolipani; and his brother, Benjamin Fescine. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Wanda Fescine of Freehold Township; one son, Douglas Fescine and his wife, Irene of Morganville; one daughter, Luori Arena and her husband, Frank of Westfield; and four grandchildren, Christopher Arena, Carli Arena, Julia Fescine and Olivia Fescine. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 9:00 AM for the procession to St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township for his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale, LI, NY.
