Obituary of Carol Spitzner

Carol L. Spitzner, 66, of Howell Township passed away at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 10, 2014. Carol was born in Paterson and raised in Elmwood Park before moving to Monmouth County. She settled, with her husband, to Howell Township in 1986. Carol was a controller at Burlington Country Club, Mount Holly. She had a passion for interior decorating which could be seen throughout the home she built with her husband. Carol adored butterflies but her true love was for family. Carol was predeceased by her father, Edward Roslasky. She is survived by her husband, David Spitzner; two daughters, Heather Bulin and her husband, John of Jackson and Tammy McHugh and her husband, James of Jackson; five grandchildren, Tyler, Hunter, Kailey, Hope, and Caeden; her mother, Loretta Roslasky of Elmwood Park; a brother, Ron Roslasky and his wife, Marge of Pompton Plains; a sister, Gail Cleelend and her husband, Tom of Wayne; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route #524), Freehold Township on Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 4:00 PM. Inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
