Obituary of William J. Pladl, Jr.

William J. Pladl, Jr., 86, of Freehold passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024. He was born and raised in Queens, and lived in Levittown and Plainview, Long Island before settling in Freehold in 2012. Bill had great skills in wood working, which led to his success in his career as a General Contractor. He thoroughly enjoyed working on cars and building car kits, especially the Model A. Bill above all was a devoted grandpa to all his grandchildren.

He is survived by his son, William J. Pladl and his wife, Karen; grandchildren, Justin Clark, William J. Pladl “Liam”, and Cathryn Pladl; and great granddaughter, Amaya.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, December 13, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:30 PM with his funeral service to begin at 7:30 PM.
