Obituary of Juanita Algarin Maldonado

Juanita Algarin Maldonado, 94, of Jackson passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024 with her family by her side. She was born and raised in Canóvanas, Puerto Rico and came to New York at the age of 19. Juanita moved to Hazlet in 1965 and settled in Jackson 30 years ago. She worked as a Seamstress for many years and also as a Health Aide. Juanita was a devote Jehovah’s Witness, and a loving woman to her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband. Hector H. Maldonado; children, Hector Maldonado, Jr. and his wife, Olga Nieves’s, Adonis Maldonado, Juannie Maldonado, and Jason Maldonado and his wife, Claribel Ramos; step daughters, Solangel Elena Maldonado and Constance Margarita Maldonado; sisters, Idalia Barrios and Iris Algarin; grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM with her funeral service to begin at 12:00 PM. For those who can not attend in person, you may participate via the funeral home's webcast HERE.  Interment will follow in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, 299 Freehold-Englishtown Road, Freehold.
