Obituary of Christopher M. Klammer

Christopher M. Klammer, 46, of Jackson passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at home.  He was born in Brooklyn and had lived on Staten Island and in Marlboro before settling in Jackson in 1989.  Chris received his Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from NJIT and was a Senior Project Manager for Mott MacDonald in Iselin for 25 years. He had a passion for motorcycles and cars, especially his ’72 Cadillac, and could fix anything.  Chris loved 50’s music, playing the guitar, and trips to Vegas. He was a loving husband and will be dearly missed by his friends and family.

Christopher was predeceased by his father-in-law, Wasyl “Wes” Kowalew in 2012.  He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Brenda Klammer of Jackson; fur babies, Braveheart, Cleo, Fiona, and their siblings; maternal grandfather, Thomas Andreacchio of Staten Island, NY; aunt and godmother, Janet Rodgers and her husband, Frank of Staten Island, NY; mother-in-law, Edwina “Kaye” Kowalew of Howell; sister-in-law, Barbara Kowalew of Howell; his very special nephew and niece, Nicholas and Sarah; cousin, Julia Manetas, her husband, Billy, and their daughter, Aubrey of Staten Island, NY; parents, Carl and Donna Klammer of North Carolina; siblings, Andrea, Brian, Elizabeth, and their families; and numerous dear friends.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, October 2, 2020 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 10:00 AM funeral service on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at the funeral home and via webcast on the funeral home website at https://claytonfuneralhome.com/77/Webcast.html.
