Francis J. “Frank” Cahill, 84 of Galloway Township passed away at his daughter Lorraine’s home surrounded and taken care of by his three daughters, Lorraine, Barbara and Susan and his grandchildren on January 16, 2024.  He was born and raised in the Sunset Park section of Brooklyn and had lived in Staten Island before settling in Galloway 20 years ago. Frank proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.  Always working with his hands, Frank worked as an operating engineer for Local 015 and was a builder.  He had many hobbies which included flying planes, going out on his boat, and riding his Harley Davidson. Frank was the ultimate family man, always caring for and guiding his children, grandchildren, and extended family.

Frank was one of eighteen children and was predeceased by sixteen of them.  He is survived by his three daughters, Lorraine and her husband, Michael Borriello of Monroe and their children, Frankie, Robert and Michael, Barbara Cacace and her husband, Richard of The Villages, FL and their children, Jennifer and her husband, Denali, Michael and Diana, Susan Pluchino and her husband, George and their children, Neil and Natalie; longtime companion, Diana Hughes of Brooklyn; and his former wife and friend, Diana Gutjahr.
