Christopher Treubert

Obituary of Christopher Treubert

Christopher Treubert, 55, of Belmar passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at home.  Chris was born in Yonkers, NY and was raised in Sayreville.  He had lived in Freehold Township before moving to Belmar in 2018.  Chris was a V.P. of Sales for Knight Refrigeration, Phoenix, AZ for the past twenty years.  He was a devout catholic and a parishioner of The Church of St. Rose, Belmar.  In his younger years, Chris played softball with the Woodpeckers.  He had an enthusiasm for the game of golf but had a passion for fishing, especially on his boat, Malleus Dei.  Chris was always lucky but that could not substitute the love he had for his wife, children, granddaughter, his family, or his friends.

Chris was predeceased by his mother, Grace.  He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Stephanie Treubert; children, Austin Treubert and his wife, Allison, Brenna Treubert, and Keely Treubert; his granddaughter, Remi; father, William J. Treubert; brother, William J. Treubert; his in-laws, nieces, nephews and dear friends.

A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road, Freehold Township on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 9:30 AM Funeral Mass on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at The Church of St. Rose, 603 Seventh Avenue, Belmar.  Interment will be private.  For those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, 160 E 53rd Street, New York, New York, 10022 or HERE or The Lustgarten Foundation, 415 Crossways Park Drive, Suite D, Woodbury, NY 11797 or HERE.  For information, directions or condolence messages to the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com
