Obituary of William S. Foster

William S. "Billy" Foster, 68, of Farmingdale passed away on December 6, 2023 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. He was born in Newark, raised in Matawan, and had lived in New Smyrna Beach, Florida before settling in Farmingdale in the mid 70's. Billy was an Electrician by trade and worked at Raceway Park Englishtown as well as other residential and commercial properties. He enjoyed working cattle at Rebel J Ranch in Florida for over 25 years. Billy would look forward to his trips to Atlantic City and motorcycle rides.

 

He is predeceased by his parents, Robert and Josephine Foster; two brothers; and five sisters. Billy is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Cindy Lou Jordan of Farmingdale; two children, Carole Jean Foster -Mayer and her husband, John of Elmer and William S. Foster, Jr. and his wife, Stacey of Farmingdale; four grandchildren, Rebecca "Becka", William III, Breanna, and Brandon; three great grandchildren, Madison, Daniel "DJ", and William IV; and six sisters, Dolores, Donna, Betty, Joyce, Diann and Debra.

 

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 11:00 AM Funeral Service on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at the Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
