Obituary of MaryAnn Andruzzi
MaryAnn Andruzzi, 81, of Monroe passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, lived in Staten Island, and settled in Monroe in 2011. MaryAnn was a dedicated family woman, taking care of her family and her home. She was a fantastic cook, most known for her sauce, meatballs, eggplant parm, and ribs, and would host many holidays and Sunday dinners. Her talent in cooking led to her recipe being featured in the Green Bay Packers Cookbook. MaryAnn found joy in watching Hallmark movies, listening to Andrea Boccelli, and reading, especially Danielle Steel. She took many trips to Atlantic City and spent over 50 years traveling to Wildwood, with groups of family and friends of over 150 people. MaryAnn could often be found talking on the phone and cracking jokes with her wicked sense of humor. Taking great pride in her appearance, she always made sure her hair and makeup were done and enjoyed a good shopping trip. She would make sure to keep up to date on everything and everyone on Facebook. MaryAnn would play Pokeno and LCR with her family, and playing cards with her girlfriends. She would watch Blue Bloods and loved to do many crafts including ceramics, painting, and coloring. MaryAnn was passionate about being present for her grandchildren’s sporting events and supporting extracurricular activities. Affectionately known as “Mrs. A.”, she could often be found with her Dunkin Iced Coffee in hand. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She was predeceased by her parents, Dominick and Teresa Caudiano. MaryAnn is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, William R. Andruzzi, Sr.; sons, William “Billy” Andruzzi, Jr. and his wife, Tanya, James S. Andruzzi, Joseph D. Andruzzi and his wife, Jennifer, and Marc A. Andruzzi and his wife, Gabrielle; grandchildren, Hunter and his fiancée, Lauren, Breanna, Thomas, Teresa, Grace, Sophia, William, Christopher “C.J.”, Juliana, Marc Jr., Michael, and Angelica; great granddaughter, Elowynn; brother, Daniel Caudiano and his wife, Michele; nieces, Nicole Collins and her husband, James and Jessica Caudiano and her partner, Melissa Itoh; great nephews, James, Dylan, Christian, and Matteo.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, March 5, 2026 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:30 AM Funeral Mass on Friday, March 6, 2026 at St. Thomas More Church, 186 Gordons Corner Road, Manalapan. Interment will follow in Brigadier General William C. Doyle New Jersey Veteran Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Arneytown.
