Obituary of Ralph A. Puglia, Sr.
Ralph A. Puglia, Sr. 81, of Old Bridge passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at John F. Kennedy University Medical Center, Edison. He was a lifelong resident of Brooklyn before moving here in 2019. Ralph served his country proudly in the United States Army, 25th Infantry Division in Vietnam. He was employed by the New York City Department of Sanitation for over 20 years prior to retiring in the early 90’s. After retiring, he drove for the Yellow Bus Company. Ralph loved nothing more than taking long walks and spending time with his family.
He was predeceased by his parents, William and Antoinette Puglia; daughter, Christine Marie Puglia; and his brothers, Michael Puglia and Joseph Puglia; and his sisters, Rosemarie Grispino, Concetta Puglia, Christine Pulgia, and Virginia Delano. Ralph is survived by his son, Ralph Puglia, Jr. and his spouse, Bi Yong; daughter, Jennifer Colangeli; five grandchildren, Anthony, Nicholas, Sebastiano, Luca and Vincenzo; brother, William Puglia, Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 10:30 AM Funeral Mass on Friday, February 27, 2026 at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Interment will follow in Long Island National Cemetery, 2040 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, NY.
