Obituary of Virginia J. McCorry

Virginia J. McCorry, 92, of Howell passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.  Proudly born and raised in Kearny, she worked as a secretary at Kearny Town Hall for over ten years prior to retiring.  Virginia was a skilled gardener and a feisty fashionista.  She was family oriented and loved nothing more than time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Virginia was predeceased by her parents, William and Josephine Nelson; husband, Francis McCorry; son, Daniel McCorry; brother, William Nelson, Jr.; sister-in-law, Helen Nelson; and son-in-law, Ralph Baroska.  She is survived by her daughter, Carol Baroska; granddaughter, Marycate Baroska Thomae and her husband, William; grandson, Brian Baroska and his partner, Maddie Wilson; and many loving nieces and nephews.
