Obituary of Allan Sebar
Allan Sebar, 75, of Old Bridge passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Allan was born in Bronx, NY and moved to Staten Island before settling in Old Bridge 35 years ago. He was a Prince among men, to know him was to love him. People gravitated towards him, he was a true gentleman. Allan was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He was self-employed for many years as the owner of his own auto repair business. Allan had many interests including photography, slot car racing, fishing, boating, golfing and woodworking. He also enjoyed smoking cigars and going to the shooting range. Allan had an appreciation for art and in his spare time could be found painting. He went to Garden State Baptist Church in Old Bridge where he was involved in bible studies. Allan’s most remarkable attribute was that he was a devoted family man who loved spending time with those he loved. He especially enjoyed taking his grandchildren out to dinner and spending quality time with them.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Christina L. Sebar; parents, Harry and Theresa Sebar; and brother, Joey Sebar. Allan is survived by his wife of 41 years, Theresa Sebar; daughters, Christine Torino and her husband, Bo, and Jeneen Guida and her husband, Vinny; sons, Allan Sebar and his wife, Kimberly, and Eric Sebar and his wife, Jacquelyn; and grandchildren, Victoria, Dominic, Vincent, Christina, Anthony, Alexis and Beckham.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 11:00 AM funeral service at the funeral home on Thursday, September 4, 2025.
