Our deepest condolence to Fely and the Torres family on the passing of Ross Torres.
We have known Ross Torres for more than 40 years. Ross and his wife, Fely, introduced us to their many friends and acquaintances within the Filipino American community, when we relocated from up north (Belleville), to central NJ (Howell). They have a wide circle of friends, and we got to know many of them. Thank you, Ross, for that.
Ross is very knowledgeable and conversant about many topics (social, religion, politics, immigration, economics, Filipino traditions, etc.) and he can express strong opinions on them. We learned many things from those discussions.
Ross is a very good conversationalist, and could regale us, with humor, of his many escapades in college, his life experiences in the Philippines when he was growing up, his exciting work challenges as an Engineer, his fondness for grandchildren, etc.
Thank you, Ross, for your friendship. The memories of our shared travels, attendance at social gatherings, anniversaries, birthdays, our jokes and banters, we will treasure forever.
You are a good and generous person. You have an abiding and deep faith in God. Goodbye Ross. May your soul Rest-in-Peace.
Willie and Linda Santos
