Antonia Pereira, 76, of Freehold passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at home, after battling her fight with cancer. She was such a brave warrior. She was born and raised in Portugal and moved to the United States in 1986. Antonia had lived in Elizabeth and Linden before settling in Freehold in 2005. She was a wonderful homemaker who loved to decorate for the holidays, enjoyed crocheting and taking care of the garden. Most of all, Antonia loved her grandchildren and spending time with her family. She a had a profound effect on so many lives and will be dearly missed.
Antonia is survived by her husband of 52 years, Manuel Pereira of Freehold; daughter, Sandra Silva and her husband, Rui of Freehold; grandchildren, Brian and Nicolle Silva; and many loving brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
